Camuflaje en las Fuerzas Fluviales Origen del verde Armadas

The survival of the ships that carry out river operations is subject to multiple threats, operational stealth is an effective and relatively economic way to increase this parameter, to get a closer look at the mechanisms that allow us to maximize its benefits will allow us to implement actions which increase the survival capacity of the naval means available for the execution of the operations on the river. This article explains how the color known as “Navy Green” employed for the Colombian Navy’s Infantry Ships and Boats was defined, raising simultaneously questions and some suggestions for the development of investigations that conduct to the normalization and identification of aspects that allow us to reinforce this quality and its general contribution to the survival of the riverine forces.
